Only Poetry Can Address Grief -- Starhawk If we simply shout at people over bullhorns, recycling the politics, the slogans, the language of the sixties, we will fail. The movement we need to build now, the potential for transformation that might arise out of this tragedy, must speak to the heart of the pain we share across political lines. This is what I've been waiting for... a recognition that the peace movement of earlier days will not do here. The enemy is not clear, the war is not clear; the peace movement needs to cast a lens on world situations to clarify them. Only then can we hope for change. As always, we need to change minds and hearts before we can change events. and outcomes. Palema
