Bush Faints at White House

OK, he's all better now- as you would expect. Then it says

Bush, 55, suffered an abrasion on his left cheek the size of a half-dollar and a bruise on his lower lip from falling onto the floor from a couch.

Excuse me? He scrapes his cheek and bruises his lip from falling off a couch? Tell us the truth, now. Did he take a header due to inebriation? Or, did someone sock him? Maybe he's been resisting his handlers?

The president fainted while alone in a room at the White House residence, watching the Baltimore-Miami National Football League playoff game on television and eating pretzels.

I know (from experience) that people in their fifties, even if fit, injure more easily than younger folks. But falling off a couch onto the floor - a carpeted floor, too, no doubt ? That is really hard to believe. Does anyone else find this story hard to swallow?

What the heck is going on down there on Pennsylvania Ave.? They'd better watch it, or the neighbors will start to complain.
