Not in OUR name

We believe that people of conscience must take responsibility for what their own governments do -- we must first of all oppose the injustice that is done in our own name. Thus we call on all Americans to RESIST the war and repression that has been loosed on the world by the Bush administration. It is unjust, immoral, and illegitimate. We choose to make common cause with the people of the world.

add your name

The form that you fill out to add your name asks for "description or organization." I speak for no one but myself, so my description is merely "patriotic American."

What's so patriotic about a citizen objecting to government policy? I believe in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and I think our government is subverting the Constitution as well as acting contrary to humanitarian principles. I have a duty to speak up.
