Get Cheney out of there!

Cheney ought to be impeached due to his serious conflict of interests, whereby he is making millions in government defense contracts handed to the company he "used to" work for, but which is still paying him!

For some documentation, read the story by David Lazarus that appeared in in SFGate, the online journal of the respected San Francisco Chronicle.

Not everyone gets the concept of conflict of interests. For those who don't, it means the public's interest, in peace (for example) conflicts with his personal interest, in (for instance ) in spending more on war. Conflicts DO happen to public officials -- that's unavoidable sometimes. An honest politician (and there are many of them, believe me!) will either not hold a position where conflicts are continuous, or where they are occasional, will avoid participating in any related votes.

It's hard to believe Cheney is being honest. He claims that while he headed Haliburton, as former US Defense Secretary, he had nothing to do with all the defense contracts they amassed. Now that he has left Haliburton and works for the President again, he claims that the huge checks comeing his way from Haliburton have nothing to do with the continuing huge contracts the company and its subsidiary, Kellogg, Brown & Root are getting.

Sure Dick.
