The privitization of the US Government is nearly complete
Take a look at the Haliburton web pages and see what pies their fingers are in. I wanted to check out
KBR Engineering and Construction but the drop-down menu wasn't working correctly to look over the
Government operations submenu. However, a site search on the terms government and operations turned up pages about their running many operations and training for the US Marines; security for US Embassies, and more. See the following excerpts
- Marines
- KBR Government Operations has a long and proud history of working with the U.S. Marine Corps and supporting Marine Expeditionary Forces worldwide. From Viet Nam to Somalia, Rwanda, and Haiti, we have provided a wide range of facilities, construction, and logistical services to deployed Marines
- Dept. of State
- KBR Government Operations currently provides the US Department of State with fast-track delivery of security upgrades at embassies, consulates and annexes in more than 50 locations worldwide. We provide comprehensive services from survey to completion in four phases:
- Site survey
- Design
- Construction
- Technical security system equipment installation
- Security Solutions
- We have provided security assessments and consequence management for a wide range of clients, including embassies, consulates, ports, maritime assets and oil and gas production facilities worldwide. Based on our intelligence analysis, we determine threat scenarios, assess risks and design solutions to help mitigate threats to our clients.
- Emergency response
- For more than 75 years, KBR has managed and completed many significant projects around the world. We have invaluable experience responding to worldwide emergencies and crises, both natural and manmade. For example, many of the techniques and procedures we developed responding to incidents at large oil, gas and petrochemical facilities have helped us improve our solutions for other clients and projects around the world.

It appears to me that Haliburton could itself go to war anywhere in the world. Certainly the US could not mount a military operation
without Haliburton as it appears all our eggs are in their basket. Is this not a little frightening?
