They're not 'our boys'I wanted to say "bring our boys home," but if the ages of the people who died are representative, they are not our boys. They are fully grown men, some on the young side but many in their prime and a few pushing toward the down side of the hill. On the CNN web site they have a list of the confirmed "US and coalition" casualties; all but two listed are from the U.S. Of the 18 listed, about one-third died in action and the remainder as a result of accident or mishap. It seemed to me, viewing the list, that the ages are unusually high for military operations. This is the list of ages given: 19 20 21 22 22 25 26 26 27 27 29 30 30 31 31 36 42 . I guess in a high-tech war, experience may count for relatively more and raw energy relatively less. I'd be interested in other people's views of why these soldiers are so old. Palema
