How the world works...We all have questions... about seemingly inexplicable big things like what is globalization and is it a "a natural process" or is someone doing it intentionally? Why are government policies so different from what most people say they want? Must society be based on competition? And then there is the failure of our Constitution to say anything about ...corporate power, which the Framers chose to insulate from popular accountability and which has since grown and become concentrated and arbitrary in ways unimaginable to elites of the eighteenth century. The failure of the Constitution to provide checks against corporate (private) power can be directly linked to the private control of foreign policy.This defect is obviously undemocratic.
