The election is the DNC's to loseUnauthorized mail?I think John Kerry and John Edwards are a winning combination; George Bush and companay are a losing combination. Democrats have never been more strongly opposed to an incumbent, more certain they will swallow any doubts they may have and support a nominee. So the election is the Democratic National Committee's to lose. Theye have a history of acting like slugs. They have been WAAAY behind the American people, especially the online people, in objecting to Bush's high-handed assumption of power. About half way into the Bush presidency someone down there caught onto the incredible rage building among Democrats around the country -- expecially those online who had access to more than one news source and the shared opinions of like-minded folks . Pretty soon, nearly every email sent out by MoveOn.org, reporting some new outrage, would be trailed in a few days or a week by a similar one from the DNC. They were a day late and a dollar short, in my book. In this economcy, who has extra money to fling around? such contributions as I sent went elsewhere. The DNC is already hard at work to lose this election with their bumbling. OK, maybe I am wrong -- if so, somone please point out what I'm missing-- but isn't there a problem with my getting letters (both snail and email) from John Kerry asking for a donation that carries a notice at the bottom saying not only that the letter was funded by the DNC, but also "This communication is not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee."
