Royal KerryA story I missed in August was a prediction by Burke's Peerage that Kerry would win the November election, based on his genealogy. After months of research into Kerry’s ancestry, Burke’s Peerage, experts on British aristocracy, reported on Monday that the Vietnam War veteran is related to all the royal houses of Europe and can claim kinship with Russian czar Ivan the Terrible, a previous emperor of Byzantium and the shahs of Persia. Burke's peerage had predicted the 2000 election outcome based on the fact that Pres. Bush was distantly related to Princess Diana (and Winston Churchill) and had more royal connections than Gore.
